The perfect combination tour for people interested in knowing about the Highland in Peru and the heart of the Inca empire. It includes a five day trek to Machu Picchu, the Puma City, Sacred valley, and Pisaq.

[Day 1]: Arrive in Lima - Pick up from the airport, transfer to the hotel. Free day, we can organice optional tours.

[Day 2]: Flight to Cusco - transfer to the airport for flight to Cusco, meet us at the Cusco airport and transfer to the hotel in the core of the old Inca Empire (3,345 m. /11,150 ft.). You will have a free morning to do as you wish. In the afternoon we will tour the city, visiting the Sun Temple and the nearby archeological sites of Saqsaywaman, Quenqo , Pukapucara, and Tambomachay. We return to the hotel in Cusco at approximately 6:30 pm.

[Day 3-7]: Sacred Valley Mountain Trek - We will take a route through Andean rugged mountain terrain with an exceptional view of snow-capped peaks and glacial lakes. You will have an opportunity to visit family homes and see the Quechua way of life in their charming communities. It will be most interesting to view and admire their weavings and observe their methods of agricultural production. We will trek into remote areas where we may see isolated small herds of llamas and alpacas. we will have a chance to see the customs of a farming system that survives to this day and hike along a ridge overlooking the Andean fertile valleys. We will overnight in the Sacred Valley.

[Day 8]: Machu Picchu - After breakfast we travel by train for about 2 hours to Aguas Calientes, Then take the bus for approximately 25 mn to the archeological citadel of the lost city of the Incas Macchu Picchu. We tour the city for about 2 hours. In the afternoon we have free time, then return to Aguas Calientes and overnight at the hotel.

[Day 9]: Sacred Valley - In the morning we leave by train to visit the Inca city of Ollantaytambo, then continue by bus to explore the archeological site and the traditional artesian market in the city of Pisaq and Qorao. Then drive back to Cusco.

[Day 10-11]: Exploring Cusco - You are free to relax and explore the magical city of Cusco on your own. Travelers can go on a city tour of the churches and surrounding ruins, wander through Cusco's busy center, shop in local markets or just visit the Plaza de Armas. For those bursting with energy horseback riding, mountain biking, or even whitewater rafting (Class III-IV) can be arranged. The night is yours to take in some of Cusco's varied and exciting nightlife placess.

[Day 12]: Flifgt to Lima - We transfer you to the airport in the morning for your flight to Lima, or another destination.
