MOLLEPATA- MACHUPICCHU TREK. 4D/3N $ 345
This outstanding trek takes us through the Cordillera Vilcabamba with its beautiful mountains. During this breathtaking journey we cross a high mountain pass of Humantay ( 4300 m.), traverse beautiful green valleys. This is a great opportunity to explore remote trails free from tourist traffic and full of unforgettable scenery. we enjoy a stunning snow-capped peaks, including the magnificent Mount Salkantay (6,273 m.). Also appreciate a wide variety of flower and wild animal species. Our final day brings us to the legendary crystal Inca town of Machupicchu.
DAY 1 : CUSCO- WAYRAQASA: Leaving Cusco early in the morning , we take a scenic drive of proximally 4 hours to the small villages of Mollepata, continuing towards Soraypampa, here we also meet up with our wranglers porters and horses that will carry our gear during the trip. Walking up buy about 3 hours in a easy climb, Then going down we reach the camp site.(3800 m). DAY: 2:PLAYA: The main part of the trail lead as towards down way . along this day we will see many farming fields from the tropical valley. Coca lives, coffee plants, several fruits from the area, etc. Camping in the valley. DAY ·3 : AGUAS CALIENTES: We have a short travel buy bus ( 1/2 hour ), then 2 hours walking to reach Puente Ruinas. Today is going to be easier day, the main par of our walking is down way and flat. We can go until Aguas Calientes to spend the night, ( chance to go to hot springs.-optional) the hotel is opcinal as well but we provide campig . DAY: 4: MACHUPICCHU- CUSCO: After break fast we take the bus to Machupicchu Archaeological site for the tour, later back to Aguas Calientes villages. By afternoon travelling to Cusco by train .
