DAY 5

Service Description

Today we wake up at 5 am, pack our belongings, and at 5.30 am have breakfast, at 6 am. We board our vehicle that will take us to the "Malaga" pass (height 4,330 MASL—14,206 feet), in the "Wakay Willka" Mountains, (traveling for an hour-), here we make a stop to observe the view of the surrounding mountains and the "Carrizales" canyon; then we continue traveling until we reach the thermal baths of "Cocal Mayu", (3 hours of travel), here we have the opportunity to take baths in the medicinal thermal waters (2 hours in baths), then we have the delight of our lunch (box Lunch), we continue traveling by vehicle for 30 more minutes to reach the end of the road; Here we leave our vehicle; We start a walk along a flat path, following the waters of the "Wilka Mayu" river against the current, also following the train railway, until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes, (walking 2.5 hours), and immediately we go to our hotel, (arriving at 4.30 pm). Then we have the afternoon free to explore the town of “Aguas Calientes” or simply rest in the hotel recovering energy for the visit to the world wonder Machupicchu. (height 2,050 MASL—6,726 feet).
