DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY TOUR, PISAC, OLLANTAYTAMBO - MARKA QOCHA (CAMPING)

At 7:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel and board our private transportation to begin an unforgettable tour through the Sacred Valley of the Inkas, a land rich in history, culture, and natural energy.

Our first stop will be at the Qorao viewpoint, where we will enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, perfect for capturing stunning photographs of this sacred land. Next, we will visit the Pisac viewpoint, offering another spectacular view of the valley and ancient Inka terraces.

We will then arrive at the traditional town of Pisac, where we will explore its colorful market and connect with the local culture. From there, we continue to the Pisac archaeological park, one of the most important sacred sites of the Inka empire. Here, we will take a transformational walk of approximately two hours, discovering the sacred temples, terraces, and ceremonial spaces that reflect the wisdom of Andean spirituality.

Afterwards, we will board our vehicle again to continue our journey through the Sacred Valley, passing through the picturesque villages of Lamay, Qoya, Calca, and Yucay, each with its own unique cultural and historical significance. We will arrive in Urubamba at 1:00 p.m., where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch made with natural ingredients from the valley, offering a life-changing culinary experience.

Our next destination is the Ollantaytambo archaeological park, located 30 minutes away. Upon arrival, we will take a guided tour of approximately two hours, discovering its impressive Inka temples, stone terraces, and spiritual energy centers.

Finally, we will board our vehicle once more and head to our campsite in Marka Qocha, arriving at 5:00 p.m. Here, we will spend the night in tents, with two travelers per tent (if you require a private tent, please request it in advance).

At an altitude of 2,895 m.a.s.l. (9,186 feet), surrounded by Andean mountains and sacred landscapes, we will experience the natural and mystical energy of the valley. Our day will conclude with a traditional Andean dinner at the campsite, under the stars of the Andean sky, preparing us for the next chapter of our spiritual journey.

DAY 3: CHALLWA Q'OCHA TREK - WILD FISHING - SPIRITUAL IMMERSION (CAMPING)

At 6:00 a.m., we wake up in the heart of the Andean mountains with a hot coffee or tea, preparing for another experiential journey in the Sacred Valley of Peru. After packing our belongings, we have a traditional breakfast at 7:00 a.m., energizing us for the day ahead.

Our morning begins with a sacred purification and healing ceremony, guided by an Andean priest or "Paq'o," a member of the Andean Amazonian Spirituality School. During this ancestral ritual, we will prepare an offering to Pachamama, the Apus, and the Aukis, honoring the sacred energy of the Earth and mountains. This is a life-changing spiritual experience, allowing us to connect deeply with the mystical traditions of the Inka culture.

Following the ceremony, we immerse ourselves in a spiritual seminar on Andean spirituality and traditional medicine, led by our Paq’o, assisted by our Peru Alive Guide. Here, we will learn about the wisdom and sacred practices of the Inka and Andean shamans, discovering their healing traditions that continue to transform lives today.

We then board our private transport and set out for the Indigenous sector of "Challwa Q'ocha," a journey of approximately an hour and a half through the breathtaking Andean landscapes. Upon arrival, we receive a brief introduction to traditional fishing rules before enjoying the day’s menu, crafted with local and natural ingredients.

After a relaxing break, we embark on a 30-minute walk to the community lagoon, where we begin our fishing experience, casting our hooks into the crystal-clear waters in search of wild trout. This is an ancestral practice that connects us with nature, patience, and the sacred spirit of the lake.

Once we have successfully caught our trout, we return to the campsite, where we prepare our freshly caught fish alongside our Chef. If we do not catch a trout, a local community member will provide one for us to ensure our Andean feast. This unique culinary tradition allows us to experience the Andean way of life, deeply connected to the land, water, and sacred food offerings.

As the sun sets, we prepare for an unforgettable night of camping at 3,950 m.a.s.l. (12,959 feet), surrounded by the pure energy of the mountains. After dinner, we continue on a two-hour descent along a scenic sacred route, arriving at the Manto Qocha campsite, where a beautiful lagoon awaits, offering a mystical and breathtaking view of its natural surroundings.

On this sacred trek, we may have the rare opportunity to witness the King of the Mountains, "Kuntur Apuchin" (the Condor), or the elusive "Auky Puma." While sightings are not guaranteed, those who are spiritually attuned may feel their presence. Along the way, we will enjoy the stunning views of Andean lakes, landscapes, and herds of llamas and alpacas, symbols of the Inka legacy and Andean culture.

At 7:00 p.m., we gather for a traditional Andean dinner, followed by a night of rest in our sacred camp at 3,800 m.a.s.l. (12,467 feet). Under the starlit Andean sky, we embrace the deep spiritual energy of the land, preparing for another day of sacred journeys in Peru.

DAY 4: TREK; ALTERNATIVE INCA TRAIL (PUMA PATH TREK )- MANTO QOCHA (CAMPING)

Very early in the morning, the radiant sunlight blesses us with a new dawn in the Sacred Andean mountains of Peru. At 6:00 a.m., we begin our day with tea, coffee, or hot chocolate, a traditional way to elevate our energy and warm the body. As we embrace the spiritual atmosphere, we prepare our trekking equipment for another transformational experience.

At 6:30 a.m., we enjoy a nourishing Andean breakfast, fueling us for the journey ahead. After breakfast, we embark on our ancestral pilgrimage along the "Puma Trail", a sacred route once traveled by Inka shamans and spiritual seekers. This spiritual trek offers a deep connection with the land, energy, and wisdom of the Andean world.

We begin by leaving the campsite on a slightly ascending path for approximately one hour, reaching Melo Pata, where we have a spectacular view of Apu Piriqway and, to the east, Apu Pitusiray, two sacred mountains revered in Andean culture. We then continue with a gentle descent for about 30 minutes, followed by another hour-long trek on an uneven but almost flat route, leading us to the site of Tika Pallana.

From here, we continue on an Andean walking path, gradually ascending for two hours until reaching the highest point of our sacred journey, the Puma Path pass (4,250 m.a.s.l.—13,944 feet). From this vantage point, we are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains, where we may see herds of llamas and alpacas grazing in their natural meadows. The energy of this sacred place is palpable, offering a live-changing spiritual connection to those who seek deep transformation.

Descending for about 30 minutes, we arrive at Waro Qocha Lake (4,200 m.a.s.l.—13,780 feet), a mystical body of water surrounded by stunning landscapes, where we will enjoy a traditional Andean meal.

After the day’s meal, we continue our trek for two more hours on a slightly descending trail, leading us to the Manto Qocha campsite, where a beautiful lagoon reflects the spirit of the Andean sky. This is a perfect place for reflection, meditation, and connection with nature.

On this ancestral route, we may have the unique opportunity to witness the King of the Mountains, "Kuntur Apuchin" (the Condor), or the elusive "Auky Puma". Although sightings are not guaranteed, those who are spiritually attuned may sense their presence. Along the way, we observe crystal-clear lagoons, enchanting landscapes, and herds of llamas and alpacas, symbols of Inka culture and the natural harmony of the Andean world.

At 7:00 p.m., we gather for a sacred Andean dinner, sharing stories of the day’s mystical experiences. As the stars illuminate the Andean sky, we rest at the campsite (3,800 m.a.s.l.—12,467 feet), embraced by the powerful spirit of the mountains.

This is more than just a trekking adventure; it is a sacred journey of transformation, energy, and ancestral wisdom—a pilgrimage that allows us to explore the depths of our soul while walking in the footsteps of the Inka people.

At 6:00 a.m., we wake up with a hot drink (coffee, tea, or hot chocolate) while admiring a spectacular view of the sacred waters of Lake Manto Qocha, a place of deep spiritual energy in the Andean mountains of Peru. The morning light reflects on the crystal-clear waters, setting the perfect tone for another transformational day on our mystical trekking journey.

Along the way, we immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the Andean landscape, passing through a beautiful forest of native trees such as Chachacoma, Queña, and Unka, which enhance the sacred atmosphere of our trek. The energy of the earth and the wisdom of these ancestral trees remind us of the deep connection between nature, spirit, and life.

Upon reaching Puma Pampa, we bid farewell to our dedicated support team (cooks, porters, and arrieros), expressing gratitude for their essential role in our Andean journey. From here, we board our vehicle, which takes us through the Sacred Valley of the Inkas to a traditional restaurant for a well-deserved lunch infused with Andean flavors.

After lunch, we continue our spiritual travel experience, heading towards our hotel in Urubamba, a 40-minute drive through the heart of the Sacred Valley. We arrive at 3:00 p.m., where we have free time to explore the town of Urubamba, visit its cultural sites, or simply rest and recharge our energy for the next day’s mystical adventure.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • This program has FIXED DEPARTURES, EVERY 3RD AND 18TH OF THE MONTH, throughout the year, except March, (we do not operate).

  • All rates for this service are based on double or triple room occupancy, in 1-2 star hotels. Single rooms can be reserved for an additional charge.

  • After the tour in Machu Picchu, we cannot remain much time inside the park, because it is not allowed - (the park rangers kick us out). The space where it is allowed to remain longer is at the entrance to the park, but this space is quite small and almost always very crowded with tourists. That's why normally almost all visitors, once the tour is finished (inside Machu Picchu), return to Aguas Calientes and generally spend the whole day here, tired and bored, waiting for the forced train schedule for the return, which is normally in the afternoon or evening.
